Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, is seeking an Industrial Engineer to support aluminum machining processes and establish manufacturing standards for engine components. You will improve safety, quality, and productivity using lean principles across multiple shifts.

You will mentor team members as you grow, perform time studies and SWI audits, and maintain critical documentation within engineering systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering (or equivalent) is required.
• 3–5 years relevant work experience.
• Extensive knowledge of manufacturing operations.
• Proficiency in lean manufacturing tools and process improvement methodologies.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or equivalent 2D drafting software is desired.
• Basic understanding of cost accounting concepts, techniques, and principles.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and documents.

Responsabilidades

• Review production schedules, MBOM structures, process flows and specifications to understand manufacturing methods.
• Establish and maintain product cost standards, databases and routings through routine audits across shifts.
• Analyze and provide component quoting with inputs from manufacturing engineering.
• Become SME on current machining engineering systems/workflows supporting various groups.
• Apply statistical methods to determine capacities, labor requirements and production mix.
• Assist new product development by supporting efficient production system creation.
• Lead cross-functional teams to review operations for safety, standardization and compliance.
• Develop and present costing quotes for continuous improvement activities and NPIs.
• Plan and establish sequence of operations to optimize manpower utilization.
• Promote a safe work environment and adhere to policies.
• All other duties assigned by the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
