Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation is seeking an Industrial Engineer to lead manufacturing process improvements, align with Lean/CI systems, and mentor staff. The Senior Engineer will redesign workflows, optimize layouts, and evaluate equipment to boost quality, efficiency, and throughput while eliminating waste.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Manufacturing Technology required; Master's degree preferred.
• Lean manufacturing and quality management principles training preferred.
• 7+ years of work experience preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD; SolidWorks knowledge preferred.
• Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Works with Production Area Managers to optimize product flow and remove bottlenecks.
• Leads new equipment implementation aligned with lean principles.
• Collaborates with Product Engineering to optimize the product and manufacturability.
• Recommends improvements to methods, tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
• Provides ROI information for capital expenditures.
• Provides safety guidance on projects and other safety concerns.
• Guides projects using cross-functional manufacturing experience.
