Job summary

REI is seeking an Industrial Engineer to lead engineered labor standards and optimize labor management systems across the distribution center network. You will partner with DC Operations, CI, and IT to implement LMS configurations, perform time studies, and drive performance improvements while ensuring safety.

This role leverages AutoCAD layouts, data analysis, and project management to reduce variability and improve throughput at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing environments.
• 2+ years using Manhattan Associates LMS or similar LMS.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering required.
• Certification in MOST or MTM preferred.
• Experience developing engineered labor standards and LMS integrations.
• Distribution/Fulfillment center experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop standard work instructions with DC Operations teams.
• Validate and maintain engineered labor standards using time studies and data.
• Identify gaps between observed time and standards to boost productivity.
• Serve as SME for LMS integrations, performance tracking, and LMS configs.
• Collaborate to ensure labor standards are integrated into LMS for tracking.
• Conduct performance audits and drive corrective actions.
• Analyze methods for optimal operations and outline alternatives.
• Provide analytical decision support with IE techniques and modeling.
• Develop network-wide processes to improve throughput and safety.
