Job summary

The engineer will perform capacity analysis, apply Lean methods such as 5S, line balancing and value stream mapping, and lead cross-functional continuous improvement projects to deliver savings

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant study.
• Min 2-3 yrs of overall and industry-specific experience required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design and implement manufacturing and/or business process improvements that increase capacity, reduce lead time, reduce WIP and improve quality, cost and delivery performance.
• Complete capacity analysis for headcount, equipment and space requirements using simulation or other effective tools.
• Identify opportunities and drive incorporation of Lean tools such as 5S, time study, line balancing, standard work, material flow and value stream mapping.
• Make recommendations to teams to yield higher output and lower cost.
• Develop and lead continuous improvement projects across functions to deliver cross-business savings.
