ABB in the United States is seeking an Industrial Engineer to support the Columbus motor plant, focusing on optimizing production systems, improving labor productivity, and reducing waste through data-driven analysis and continuous improvement methods.

You will document processes, balance lines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive manufacturing efficiency and ensure safe, reliable operations.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with minimum 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred: Six Sigma certification, Lean, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, and PMP Project Management.
• Experience with SAP, ProPlanner, FlexSim, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, PFEP, Value Stream Mapping, and labor routings.
• Must be able to work occasional 2nd shift.
• Candidates must already have US work authorization.

Mansioni

• Support production startup and ramp plans through project management and technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning.
• Assist in preparing proposals/presentations for engineering projects.
• Use checklists to verify designs per standards and guidelines.
• Create and maintain manufacturing process documentation: facility layouts, process flows, capacity/utilization studies, takt time, time and motion studies, standard work, cycle time, and line balancing.
