Job summary

ABB is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize multiple production lines in New Berlin, WI. You will drive process improvements, standardize practices, and align engineering work with production goals.

This onsite role reports to the Engineering Manager and sits within the Smart Process Design Team. Join ABB to contribute to high-performance manufacturing, advance automation initiatives, and support quality and capacity targets across diverse lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 3+ years in Manufacturing including lean manufacturing, process standardization, line balance & capacity, PFMEA, and quality initiatives.
• Demonstrated passion for driving change through innovation and collaboration.
• Engaged with modern manufacturing processes and strategic engineering practices.
• Effective team communicator.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve line productivity and quality by implementing smart processes.
• Own manufacturing processes, documentation, and best practices for current and new products across multiple lines.
• Monitor and improve line performance, balance, capacity, PFMEA, CTQs, and quality initiatives.
