Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology.
3–5 years in an engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
Experience applying lean principles to production processes.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the successful launch of New Product Introductions (NPI) within Operations.
Support data center backup solution initiatives and related improvements.
Contribute to facility transformation, technology transfer and line optimization.
Ensure process improvement initiatives are documented and implemented.
Implement demand driven principles to support operational excellence.
Promote ongoing continuous improvement with shop floor personnel.
Deploy standard Generac tools, methodologies, standards, practices and processes.
Work with cross-functional teams to meet customer satisfaction and fulfillment needs.
Define area layouts, process definitions, PLC programming, and equipment/tooling selection.
