Job summary

Generac Power Systems Inc in Belvidere, IL seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to drive process improvement across the value chain. You will study product and manufacturing methods, identify improvements and work with shop floor personnel to implement changes.

The role focuses on NPI launches, technology transfer, and continuous improvement initiatives to raise quality and reduce costs. A bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years’ related experience are expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology with 1–3 years of related engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Coordinate successful launch of New Product Introductions (NPI) in Operations.
Contribute to facility transformation, technology transfer and maintenance of mixed model lines.
Ensure ongoing success of process improvement initiatives with documented policies and procedures.
Implement demand driven principles to support operational excellence and long-range plans.
Synchronize product, material and information flows to maximize efficiency and minimize cost.
Promote continuous improvement of manufacturing methods, systems and controls with shop floor personnel.
