RTX in Decorah, IA is seeking a manufacturing-focused engineer to contribute to process improvements on onsite operations. You will define solutions, collaborate with design engineering, and lead Lean initiatives to drive efficiency and cost control.

The role emphasizes data-driven problem solving, cross-functional teamwork, and development of CAD tooling and assembly processes in a manufacturing environment. This is a fulltime onsite position in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field required by start date.
• Direct manufacturing experience or equivalent.
• Experience driving process improvements and efficiency.
• Experience can be gained via work, studies, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement technical solutions, tools, and layouts to improve efficiency and safety.
• Collaborate with design engineering to improve manufacturability and designs.
• Lead cross-functional cost control, inventory, and Lean initiatives.
• Solve problems and innovate assembly processes through data analysis and research.
• Manage medium-complexity projects with timelines and cost estimates.
