Job summary

Gildan seeks an experienced Industrial Engineer to optimize distribution center operations. You will develop standard work, conduct time studies, and drive continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma tools across the DC network.

You will train staff, analyze data, and design efficient layouts and processes to achieve cost savings and productivity gains. Collaboration with operations leaders is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering.
• 4–6 years distribution center experience.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (or equivalent training).
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma concepts and A3/Kaizen projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain engineered work standards for distribution processes.
• Train DC associates, supervisors, and leaders in LMS, SOPs, engineering standards and Lean Six Sigma practices.
• Conduct time studies (UMT/MOST) and design/update facility layouts and processes.
• Develop labor rates for promotional and value-added activities.
• Provide data to maintain Manhattan’s Labor Management System across the DC and network.
• Support A3 and Kaizen projects aligned with business strategies.
