Job summary

CS Recruiting, a Hirewell company, is seeking an Industrial Engineer to optimize Memphis distribution center processes, layouts, equipment, and systems. You will lead improvement projects, develop labor standards and KPIs, and evaluate storage solutions to enhance productivity and quality.

The role requires a Bachelor's in IE or Systems Engineering, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and 2–4 years of relevant experience, with a Master’s degree strongly preferred.

Job description

Optimize distribution center processes, layouts, equipment, and systems to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance quality. Lead improvement projects, develop labor standards and performance metrics, evaluate material handling and storage solutions, and communicate findings to stakeholders.

Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification are required; a master’s degree is strongly preferred. Candidates need 2–4 years of relevant experience, with knowledge of warehouse management systems, Microsoft tools, Six Sigma methods, and CAD or simulation; work measurement experience is preferred.
