Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Industrial Engineer to drive operational performance across multiple sites in the United States. The role focuses on layout, design, improvement, and project leadership to achieve peak site performance and cost efficiency.

The position emphasizes continuous improvement, GEMBA walks, time studies, and collaboration with vendors, customers, and internal teams to deliver measurable results and profitability improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent, required.
• 0-4 years of experience in distribution or logistics, required.
• Some knowledge of Industrial Engineering, preferred.
• Capable of using AutoCAD and making layout changes.
• Can perform a time study and convert it to meaningful data.
• Can use flowcharting software and can outline process steps.
• Learning to communicate / interact with outside organizations (vendors, customers, and government)

Responsibilities

• Work independently to manage deadlines and prioritize your workload in a manner that enables you to achieve results
• Provide support with layout, design, improvement, and implementation that enables our sites to achieve peak performance
• Champion Continuous Improvement initiatives and projects for the customer
• Identify and implement cost reduction, quality, safety, and ergonomic improvements
• Participate in management circles
• Deliver results
