Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Industrial Engineer to drive operational performance across multiple sites in the United States. The role focuses on layout, design, improvement, and implementation to achieve peak site performance and profitability.

The candidate will champion Continuous Improvement initiatives, conduct time studies, and collaborate with operations staff to identify and implement cost reductions, quality, safety, and ergonomic improvements. A degree in a related field is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in related discipline or equivalent (required).
• 0-4 years of experience in distribution or logistics (required).
• Experience with distribution, logistics, project management preferred.
• Basic concept of a warehouse operation (inbound, put away, pick, pack, ship).
• Capable of using AutoCAD and making layout changes.

Responsibilities

• Work independently to manage deadlines and prioritize workload.
• Provide support with layout, design, improvement, and implementation for peak performance.
• Champion Continuous Improvement initiatives and projects for the customer.
• Identify and implement cost reduction, quality, safety, and ergonomic improvements.
• Participate in management circles.
• Deliver results.
