Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Industrial Engineer to drive operational performance across our sites. This role offers exposure to multiple operations, managing deadlines, and leading layout, design, and improvement efforts to achieve peak site performance.

The ideal candidate will pursue continuous improvement opportunities, collaborate with vendors and customers, and deliver measurable cost reductions while advancing safety and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent, required.
• 0-4 years of experience in distribution or logistics, required.
• Experience with distribution, logistics, project management, preferred.
• Capable of using AutoCAD and making layout changes.
• Familiar with basic concept of continuous improvement and can identify low hanging fruit opportunities within an operation.
• Performs GEMBA walks with operations team.

Responsibilities

• Work independently to manage deadlines and prioritize your workload in a manner that enables you to achieve results
• Provide support with layout, design, improvement, and implementation that enables our sites to achieve peak performance
• Champion Continuous Improvement initiatives and projects for the customer
• Identify and implement cost reduction, quality, safety, and ergonomic improvements
• Participate in management circles
• Deliver results
