Job summary

Cleveland Brothers is hiring an Industrial Engine Field Technician in Clarksburg, WV. The role involves diagnosing and repairing prime power and standby power installations, with work on diesel, gas, and marine engines, plus generators.

You will work both in the field and in the shop, with potential overtime and weekend commitments. A technical school or military background is preferred, and compliance with DOT requirements is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a technical school, military school, or relevant working experience acceptable to the company.

Responsibilities

• Independently diagnose and repair prime power and standby electrical power installations, in multiple or parallel operation.
• Work with automatic start/stop controls, safety shut-downs, switch gear, circuit breakers, and control panel wiring.
• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain diesel, gas, and marine engines; service generators and components.
• Assemble/disassemble equipment per manufacturer specifications; maintain temperature control and air compression equipment.
• Complete service reports accurately and meet DOT and licensing requirements; overtime and weekend work as needed.
