Job summary

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc. is seeking an Industrial Engine Field Technician to diagnose, repair, and startup diesel and gas engines and generator sets for our customers in the region.

The successful candidate will service electric power generation systems, industrial engines, and associated controls, with responsibilities that include wiring, transfer switches, switchgear, and safe operation under varied environmental conditions. A commercial driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Commercial driver's license required.
• Pass driver\'s physical and all applicable tests.
• Experience on electric power generation systems and industrial engines.
• Ability to diagnose, repair, and startup diesel and gas engines.
• Ability to work overtime and in shop or field environments.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair prime power and standby installations.
• Understand start/stop controls, safety shut‑downs, switch gear, circuit breakers, wiring.
• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain diesel/gas/marine engines.
• Service generators and components in various conditions.
• Assemble/disassemble equipment per manufacturer specifications.
• Meet DOT physical examination requirements.
