Job summary

Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat dealer in the region, is hiring an Industrial Engine Field Technician to service oil & gas customers in Clarksburg/Bridgeport, WV. You will diagnose, repair and startup diesel and natural gas engines and generator sets, with after-hours on-call as needed.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting prime power installations, working with switchgear and controls, and completing detailed service reports.

Qualifications

• CDL required and must pass driver physical tests.
• Experience with diesel and natural gas engines is required.
• Ability to work in industrial environments with variable conditions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair prime power and standby electrical power installations.
• Understand controls, safety shut-downs, switch gear and control panel wiring.
• Independently diagnose, repair, rebuild and maintain diesel and gas engines.
• Perform work on generators and component parts in various conditions.
• Accurately complete service reports and update work orders.
