Job summary

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc. is seeking an Industrial Engine Field Technician to diagnose and repair prime power systems, engines, and generators.

This role will involve field work and shop assignments, with emphasis on electrical power installations and mechanical service across multiple environments. The ideal candidate has technical schooling or equivalent experience, will meet DOT requirements, and can work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a technical school, military school, or relevant working experience acceptable to the company.

Responsibilities

• Independently diagnose and repair prime power and stand-by electrical power installations in multiple or parallel operation.
• Understand and operate automatic start/stop controls, safety shut-downs, switch gear, circuit breakers, and control panel wiring.
• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain diesel, gas, and marine engines.
• Repair and maintain generators and component parts in various environments.
• Safely assemble and disassemble equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
• Repair and maintain temperature control and air compression equipment.
• Complete service reports and provide details to finalize work orders.
• Meet DOT physical examination and licensing requirements and comply with CBE driving rules.
• Overtime and possible weekend work; maintain required tools.
