Job summary

Cleveland Brothers, the leading Cat dealer in the region, is seeking an Industrial Engine Field Technician to diagnose and repair prime power and standby power systems, and to service diesel, gas, and marine engines. You may work in the field or in our New Stanton shop depending on workload.

The role requires overtime and weekend work, DOT/regulatory compliance, and the ability to maintain required tools. We offer a market-leading benefits package and opportunities across 29 locations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a technical school, military school, or relevant working experience acceptable to the company.

Responsibilities

• Independently diagnose and repair prime power and stand-by electrical power installations in multiple or parallel operation.
• Understand and have working knowledge of automatic start/stop controls, safety shut-downs, switch gear, circuit breakers, and control panel wiring.
• Independently diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain diesel, gas, and marine engines; perform work on generators and components.
• Safely assemble/disassemble equipment and components per manufacturer specifications; repair and maintain temperature control and air compression equipment.
• Accurately complete service reports and provide details to complete work orders; meet DOT requirements; overtime/weekend work.
