Job summary

Granite Construction in Cheyenne, WY seeks an Engineer II to provide technical engineering and cost data for compliant construction work. You will interpret plans, support job controls, and coordinate with on-site teams to keep work on schedule.

The ideal candidate has a Civil/Construction background with 2+ years of estimating or engineering support, strong MS Office and AGTEK Take-off experience, and a safety-minded approach. Excellent teamwork is expected.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Scheduling and AGTEK Take-off software experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with job controls to ensure contract, budget, schedule and cost targets are met.
• Interpret drawings for craft workers to ensure specifications are followed.
• Coordinate with on-site departments to resolve issues and support project schedule.
• Prepare documentation: status reports, punch lists, sketches, and material calculations.
• Provide material controls guidance to minimize costs and meet design requirements.
• Prepare drawings and estimates to support change orders and scope changes.
