Job summary

Granite Construction Incorporated is seeking an experienced civil project estimator to provide technical engineering input and cost information, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and project specifications.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, supporting job controls, preparing estimates and supporting documentation, and coordinating with on-site teams to maintain schedule and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of construction estimating support or related experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office and AGTEK Take-off software.
• Working knowledge of drawings, specifications, and construction materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist with job controls to ensure compliance with contract, budget, schedule, forecasting and job costing.
• Interpret designs/drawings for craft workers ensuring specifications are followed.
• Support project teams to resolve problems and maintain schedule and quality.
• Prepare documentation such as status reports, punch lists, and material calculations.
