Job summary

Altronic, a leading maker of ignition and control systems, seeks an embedded software engineer to develop and maintain software/firmware/bootloader for its engines. The role centers on natural gas spark ignition with precise timing and low latency execution.

You will work across product development, including hardware interaction, and collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure robust interfaces and reliable operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Proficient in embedded languages C/C++ and assembly.
• Experience with microcontrollers and peripherals.
• Strong debugging and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with CAN, RS485, Ethernet networks.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and design software systems using analysis and models.
• Design architecture and block diagrams for hardware/software interfaces.
• Develop software for 32-bit microcontrollers (ST/AVR).
• Participate in design reviews and provide field support.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure interface compatibility.
