Job summary

Bell and Howell seeks an Associate Customer Service Technician in the Tristate area (NYC to Long Island) to be the primary contact for technical and service issues on industrial, robotic and printing equipment.

You will diagnose electronic, mechanical, software and system failures, performing hands-on troubleshooting with a DMM and supporting field service activities including hardware, software and wireless networking. Some travel across the United States and Canada is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Experience using Digital Multi Meter (DMM).
• Willingness to travel within the United States and Canada.
• High School degree or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair a variety of industrial products (printing equipment, cash recycling, mail sorters, etc.).
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance inspections.
• Manage parts inventory and customer service calls.
• Maintain strong customer relations and effective communication.
• Coordinate with other departments and respond to emergencies as needed.
