Job summary

Emtech is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to support installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of advanced automation and robotics systems. The role collaborates with project managers, engineers, and field technicians to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with codes and customer requirements.

You will travel to customer sites across North America and occasionally internationally, perform inspections, document work, and participate in startup activities.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of electrical theory, circuits, motors, controls, and power distribution.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Experience using electrical testing equipment and performing diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, and maintain industrial electrical systems and equipment.
• Interpret diagrams and technical documentation to guide installation.
• Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on automation, robotics, and power distribution systems.
• Support startup, testing, commissioning, and validation activities.
• Maintain safe work practices and comply with codes and safety standards.
