Job summary

PITCO Engineering is seeking a motivated Junior Industrial Electrician to support automation and robotics projects. This hands-on role covers installation, wiring, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in industrial settings with growth opportunities in automation.

The role requires flexibility for travel up to 70% and regular overtime. Responsibilities include assisting with installation, wiring, and maintenance; troubleshooting; commissioning with engineers; reading schematics; and

Qualifications

• Associate degree, trade school certificate, or equivalent work experience in Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Previous experience in industrial electrical work, or strong interest/affinity for controls and robotics.
• Valid U.S. driver's license; ability to obtain a passport for international travel.
• Must pass drug screening and background check; must be eligible to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship).
• Preferred: familiarity with industrial wiring, conduit installation, and panel building.
• Preferred: basic knowledge of PLCs, automation systems, or robotics.
• Preferred: ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, wiring, and maintenance of electrical systems for automation equipment.
• Support troubleshooting and repair of electrical issues in industrial environments.
• Work alongside engineers and senior electricians during equipment commissioning and startup.
• Follow electrical schematics and wiring diagrams accurately.
