Job summary

Alumicore seeks a Plant Electrician to support installation, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of our Monessen facility. You will collaborate with maintenance, operations, vendors, and management to ensure safe and reliable production equipment.

Experience with industrial controls, PLCs, VFDs, and automated equipment is highly valued as we build a new plant and expand capabilities. Must be able to work shifts in a demanding manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical work.
• Experience with 480V three-phase systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot control circuits.
• Strong attention to detail with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems on plant machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose issues involving motors, motor starters, contactors, relays, sensors, switches, and control circuits.
• Troubleshoot and maintain 480V three-phase industrial electrical systems.
• Work with VFDs, motor controls, electrical control panels, and automated equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, I/O, sensors, interlocks, and basic control logic.
• Assist with startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of new production equipment.
