Job summary

Ecore is seeking an Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and maintain complex electrical systems in our York, PA plant. You’ll work on 120/240/480-volt networks, control panels, and PLCs (Allen‑Bradley preferred) to keep operations running at peak performance.

Qualifications include an Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years in industrial maintenance, and strong understanding of circuitry, safety practices, and diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience required.
• 3+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems and electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience with PLCs (Allen‑Bradley preferred), VFDs, and motor controls.
• Knowledge of power distribution, control wiring, and electrical safety practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues down to the component level.
• Comfortable with diagnostic equipment and electrical test tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial electrical systems including motors, drives, control panels, and power distribution.
• Work with 120/240/480-volt systems, installing and maintaining conduit, wiring, relays, and control circuits.
• Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs and control systems (Allen-Bradley preferred).
• Support and diagnose VFDs, AC/DC motor drives, and electro‑mechanical equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, and start-up of new electrically driven equipment.
• Utilize diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscope.
• Collaborate with mechanical maintenance for combined electrical/mechanical repairs.
• Provide limited facility electrical support (lighting, building systems).
