Job summary

Arconic Corporation is seeking Electricians to join the RPNA unit in Alcoa, Tennessee. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining heavy industrial machinery, including AC/DC motors, controls, and PLCs, with an emphasis on safety and reliability.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year electrical maintenance experience, and completion of an approved apprenticeship or industrial electricity program. Proficiency in basic software and testing is required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• 1+ year of electrical maintenance experience with AC/DC motors, electrical controls, programmable controllers, and 480v power distribution.
• Completion of a Department of Labor approved apprenticeship or certificate from a post-secondary industrial maintenance or industrial electricity program.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Successful candidate must pass Arconic Electrical Entrance Testing.

Responsibilities

• Read electrical schematics to troubleshoot equipment.
• Create job kits for maintenance jobs including repairs, new equipment installation, and preventative maintenance.
• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and state and federal regulations.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools, measuring devices, and test equipment.
