Job summary

Arconic in Springdale, Arkansas, is seeking an Electrical Technician for the Maintenance Team. You will troubleshoot, repair and improve in-house industrial controls and PLCs, and perform preventative maintenance across CNC and process equipment.

The role requires reading electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic prints, programming small PLC projects, and supporting TPM initiatives. A two-year degree or journeyman program is preferred, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Two-year associate degree or completion of a journeyman program is preferred.
• Experience with CNC equipment and programming is preferred.
• Solid knowledge of PLC controls and ladder logic is essential.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and improve in-house industrial controls and PLCs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and back-up the company electrician when needed.
• Program small PLC projects and update documentation and TPM activities.
• Read electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic prints and assist with machine alignment.
