Job summary

Arconic Corporation in Springdale, Arkansas is seeking an Electrical Technician to join our Maintenance Team. You will troubleshoot, repair, and improve in-house control systems and perform preventive maintenance on CNC equipment and PLCs.

The role requires hands-on electrical education, experience with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs, and the ability to read electrical prints. You will back up the company electrician and contribute to TPM activities while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints.
• Capability to perform controls wiring projects and circuit drawings.
• Learn CNC fundamentals and operate CNC machines for maintenance.
• Knowledge of Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs and drives.
• Comfort with documenting procedures and TPM activities.
• Strong safety and EHS compliance mindset.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and improve in-house industrial controls and PLCs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on CNC equipment and related systems.
• Serve as backup Company electrician in building and grounds.
• Develop and implement TPM activities and 5S practices.
• Write manuals and procedures for equipment operation and maintenance.
• Communicate with customers and sales to align job strategy.
• Train colleagues on equipment operation and safety.
