Job summary

Arconic is seeking an Electrical Technician for its Springdale, Arkansas maintenance team. You will troubleshoot and repair in-house controls, perform preventative maintenance, and serve as backup electrician as needed to keep plant operations running smoothly.

Role involves programming small PLC projects, calibrating circuitry, and leading TPM activities with a focus on safety and efficiency. Strong knowledge of Siemens/Allen-Bradley PLCs is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints quickly and accurately.
• Capable of controls wiring and drawing circuit prints.
• Learn CNC fundamentals and operate CNC machines for maintenance and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and improve in-house industrial controls and PLCs; perform preventative maintenance.
• Back-up company electrician when needed; perform proactive maintenance.
• Develop new PLC programming for small projects and troubleshoot PLCs with ladder logic.
• Adjust, calibrate and modify circuitry; record effects on performance.
• Lead TPM activities and document preventative maintenance procedures.
