Job summary

Saint-Gobain seeks a skilled electrical maintenance technician in the United States to maintain, repair, calibrate, and install electrical instrumentation and control systems. You will troubleshoot, read drawings, and work with Allen-Bradley PLCs and Yokogawa DCS, ensuring safe, reliable operation.

The role requires performing wiring, calibration, and testing across drives, transformers, cranes, and power equipment, with emphasis on safety and efficient maintenance procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of electrical instrumentation and control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, prints and system diagrams.
• Experience with PLCs, DCS and variable frequency drives.
• Familiarity with high voltage systems and electrical safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, calibration and repair of electrical instrumentation and control systems.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical/mechanical equipment using test equipment.
• Read technical manuals and translate them into actionable maintenance steps.
• Work rotating shifts and pass background checks and drug test.
• Operate CMMS for work orders, parts, and documentation.
