Job summary

Westlake Chemical is seeking an Electrician to maintain and repair electrical equipment in production areas and troubleshoot PLCs, while following all safety policies.

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, you will perform preventative maintenance, wire installations, and work with engineering on upgrades. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently or in a team, and flexibility to work shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant skill training.
• 1–2 years of experience in a maintenance/electrical role.
• Basic PLC knowledge and electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical equipment in production areas.
• Troubleshoot PLCs using ladder diagrams and schematics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and support upgrades.
• Assist with wiring, conduit, and terminations for industrial equipment.
• Keep safe by following Westlake safety policies and procedures.
