Job summary

PepsiCo in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical controls in a 24-hour manufacturing setting. You’ll work with Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and related equipment, ensuring safe, reliable production.

The role requires the ability to lift 15–50 pounds, willingness to work varied shifts, and collaboration with teams to drive productivity and safety. Training is provided, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 or older.
• General PC knowledge and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team with ongoing skill development.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain a wide variety of electrical controls and systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Troubleshoot issues with Allen Bradley components and PLCs using Logix 5000, SLC 500, PLC5 and Rockwell software.
• Work with industrial controls, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo motors, detectors, and transport/mixing systems.
• Maintain and repair 120/208, 277/480 and assist with 13,800 volt electrical systems.
