Job summary

Pella in Sioux Center, IA is seeking a Maintenance Technician III for 2nd shift (12 PM–10 PM, Mon–Thu). In this in-person role, you'll keep production equipment running, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and support automated systems.

You'll work with PLCs, sensors, motors, and production equipment; build reliability, perform preventative maintenance; and collaborate across the plant. This position offers hands-on growth, safety focus, and opportunities to develop certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment assessments.
• Ability to pass a pre-work vision screening.
• Ability to pass a drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and identify root causes
• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
• Work with automated systems, PLCs, sensors, motors, and production equipment
• Partner with teammates across the plant to solve problems and improve processes
• Support multiple areas of the facility based on business needs
• Follow safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment
