Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to support industrial electrical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will troubleshoot, install, and maintain motors and control hardware, read schematics, and collaborate with vendors.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate degree or equivalent technical training in a related field required.
NCCER Instrumentation Level 1 Certification required.
NFPA70E certification required.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and documentation.
Willingness to work in an industrial environment and collaborate with teams.

Responsibilities

Wire, troubleshoot, and verify phase rotation for motors ≤10HP.
Troubleshoot control circuits (24VDC, 120VAC) and process signals (0-10VDC, 4-20mA).
Install and maintain industrial/control hardware including sensors and relays.
Replace sacrificial parts on energized/de-energized circuits as needed.
Verify and troubleshoot signals between control systems and field devices.
Collaborate with vendors/contractors for inspections and maintenance.
Comply with OSHA and local codes and participate in safety programs.
