Job summary

Amcor Edgewood facility is seeking a Maintenance Electrical Technician to perform planned maintenance and emergency repairs across the site. The role combines mechanical and electrical work, including PLC hardware, motor controls, hydraulics and pneumatics, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The position offers 3rd shift or 2nd shift options, competitive hourly pay with a night differential, overtime opportunities, and a full benefits package starting day one.

Qualifications

• Must have education as stated and applicable training.
• Experience in an industrial/mfg facility with electrical and mechanical fundamentals.
• Strong knowledge of motors, PLC hardware, hydraulics and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

• Follow all EHS guidelines including LOTO and safe work permits.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and high-performance workstation.
• Log time, parts, problems and maintenance worksheets accurately.
• Perform repairs and preventive/predictive maintenance of equipment and facilities.
• Handle non-critical plumbing, cutting, brazing and welding tasks.
• Restock machine parts and perform waste handling tasks as needed.
• Troubleshoot safety, quality and throughput issues and escalate as required.
• Work at heights and participate in continuous improvement teams.
