Job summary

Fireclay Tile is hiring an Industrial Electrician II to join the Maintenance Team in Spokane, WA. The role ensures optimal electrical equipment function through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely repairs on high-speed production lines.

Responsibilities include PLC/HHMI troubleshooting, instrumentation works, wiring, and reading schematics. 3–5 years in similar settings required; schedule is Swing Shift with 6% differential, some weekends and overtime.

Qualifications

3–5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or continuous-production environment.
Working knowledge of PLC systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens) with the ability to navigate software and troubleshoot I/O signals.
Familiarity with heat control loops (temperature controllers, SCRs, thermocouples) and electrical actuators/modulating valves.
Practical experience wiring 3-phase motors, VFDs, control panels, and industrial sensors.
Proficiency in using digital multimeters, megohmmeters, and hand tools to isolate electrical faults.

Responsibilities

Electrical Troubleshooting & Maintenance: troubleshoot, repair, and replace electrical components on high-speed equipment.
PLC & Automation Support: assist with PLC and HMI troubleshooting using software to monitor I/O status.
Instrumentation & Controls: install, test, and replace sensors and control components.
Schematics & Blueprint Reading: read electrical schematics and diagrams to diagnose issues.
Cross-Functional Maintenance: diagnose basic mechanical issues on production lines.
