Job summary

Fireclay Tile is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician III to join our Spokane maintenance team. You will ensure optimal functionality of industrial electrical equipment through proactive maintenance and timely repairs, including PLC/automation tasks and system upgrades.

The role reports to the Maintenance Manager, is onsite in Spokane, WA, and operates on a day shift with some weekends/holidays. Compensation includes hourly pay of $36.00–$41.00, plus discretionary bonus and stock

Qualifications

Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems.
Hands-on experience wiring 3-phase motors.
Proven ability to diagnose and repair electrical/mechanical equipment.
Strong knowledge of OSHA, NEC/NFPA 70E and LOTO protocols.

Responsibilities

Electrical Troubleshooting & Maintenance: maintain and optimize electrical components and production equipment.
PLC & Automation Leadership: lead PLC/HMI setup and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
System upgrades & retrofits: assist with new equipment installations and process improvements.
Mentorship & technical leadership: coach junior technicians and apprentices.
Root cause analysis & continuous improvement: apply 5-Why and Fishbone methods to solve issues.
