Job summary

Rainier Veneer in Spanaway, WA seeks an Industrial Maintenance Electrician to maintain and improve production line efficiency through electrical and mechanical support. Swing or Graveyard shifts with day training during onboarding.

The role installs, services, and repairs premise wiring on production lines; troubleshoots PLCs and VFDs; collaborates with millwrights; performs preventive maintenance; supports hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyors, and rolling stock; maintains records and inventory.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance.
Strong skills in electrical troubleshooting and repair.
Hands-on experience with PLC diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Solid understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Willing and able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments with varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Install, service, and repair all premise wiring on production lines.
Troubleshoot computer systems associated with the production lines.
Work with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives).
Collaborate with millwrights on troubleshooting and emergency maintenance.
Perform preventive maintenance and maintain service records for machinery.
