Fireclay Tile in Spokane, WA is seeking an Industrial Electrician I for routine preventive maintenance, wiring, and learning automation under mentorship. This entry‑level role is onsite in Spokane with a day shift (6 am - 3:30 pm) and occasional overtime.

You will gain hands‑on exposure to PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and motorized actuators while reporting to the Maintenance Manager. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $25.00–$27.00 plus a discretionary bonus and stock options.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience or completion of an accredited Industrial Electrical / Automation technical degree or apprenticeship program.
• Basic understanding of AC/DC circuits, 3‑phase power, motor controls, and electrical safety fundamentals.
• Ability to read basic electrical prints, ladder diagrams, and schematics.
• Eagerness to learn PLCs, instrumentation, temperature controls, and complex industrial automation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with comfort using power tools, hand tools, and testing meters.
• High School Diploma or GED required; technical school diploma/certificate strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; must supply basic hand tools (or willingness to obtain them upon hire).

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on plant machinery.
• Assist in wiring, conduit running, and mounting sensors or switches.
• Learn automation controls including PLCs, VFDs, and motorized actuators.
• Provide mechanical assistance on conveyors, pumps, and pneumatic lines.
• Adhere to site safety standards including LOTO and PPE.
• Document work in the CMMS.
• Work under the Maintenance Manager on site in Spokane, WA.
