Job summary

Fireclay Tile is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II to ensure optimal functionality of our industrial equipment onsite in Spokane, WA. The role involves proactive maintenance, repairs on conveyors, presses, kilns, and automated systems, plus machining and fabrication tasks.

Hourly position starting day shift 6:30am–3:00pm with possible alternate shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime. Compensation: $28–$35/hour, plus discretionary bonus and stock options.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant industrial maintenance, repair, or metal fabrication experience.
• Proficient with CMMS for work orders and asset tracking.
• Thorough understanding of LOTO procedures and safety.
• MIG welding proficiency; TIG welding a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair a wide range of industrial equipment.
• Respond promptly to malfunctions and perform timely repairs.
• Perform machining tasks on components (boring, keyway, facing, turning).
• Fabricate and modify metal parts as needed for operations.
• Adhere to LOTO procedures and operate forklifts safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
