Job summary

JLL in Lake Orion, MI is seeking an Electrician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems across large-scale manufacturing facilities. You will work hands-on to maximize uptime, read blueprints, and implement preventive maintenance, while collaborating with maintenance teams and client operations to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma OR state equivalent required.
• Two years of electrical trade schooling OR equivalent training/apprenticeship.
• Journeyman Electrician license OR equivalent industrial electrical certification OR willing to obtain within 90 days.
• Strong knowledge of electrical/instrumentation/control systems in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematic drawings.
• OSHA standards and local electrical codes.
• Physically able to operate tools, climb ladders, lift heavy loads, and work in confined spaces.
• Available for call-in work 24 hours per day and for overtime, weekends, and pre/post shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical/instrumentation/control systems in large facilities.
• Plan and execute installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose faulty wiring and read drawings to correct issues.
• Document work in CMMS with hours and completion details.
