Job summary

Weyerhaeuser Holden LA is seeking skilled Industrial Electricians for our state-of-the-art lumber facility. You will repair, modify, install and maintain high-tech equipment, lead safety and production initiatives, and coordinate with production teams to maximize uptime and minimize costs.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, understanding of NFPA 70E and arc flash, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least 3 years of industrial electrical experience or equivalent.
  • Experience with manufacturing equipment and preventive maintenance.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting electrical systems and reading schematics.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and perform installations.
  • Strong safety, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Identify safety, environmental, quality & production issues and coordinate with teams.
  • Manage preventive electrical systems to reduce downtime.
  • Perform electrical repairs safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect and document repairs; input data into CMMS.
  • Coordinate repairs and communicate with planning and operating teams.
  • Understand reliability-centered electrical maintenance practices and improve machine reliability.

Join now and be part of the next generation of lumber manufacturing.Weyerhaeuser Company is currently recruiting for skilled Industrial Electricians with a thorough and comprehensive knowledge of electrical equipment, processes and techniques to repair, modify, install and maintain the facility and high-tech lumber manufacturing equipment.As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for leading identifying safety, environmental, quality & production issues; coordinating activities with production teams to maximize productivity and minimize cost, reducing waste and taking measures to proactively address all concerns.
