Job summary

Weyerhaeuser in Magnolia, MS is seeking an experienced electrical maintenance technician to support our McComb sawmill operations. You will install, repair, troubleshoot and maintain electric motors, scanners, drives and PLCs on manufacturing equipment.

The role requires an Associate's degree in Electrical Technology, at least three years of industrial electrical experience, and willingness to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Electrical Technology.
• Minimum of three years electrical experience in an industrial environment.
• Knowledge and experience with motor control systems.
• Ability to program, repair, and troubleshoot PLCs.
• Willing and able to work any shift, weekends, overtime and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, troubleshoot and maintain electric motors, scanners, drives, and PLCs on manufacturing equipment.
• Provide basic mechanical support as needed.

Pay Range: $31.09-$37.45This role offers a $1,000.00 hiring bonus!The first $500.00 installment will be paid after 90 days of successful employment with Weyerhaeuser, and another $500.00 installment at 6 months.This position provides electrical maintenance support to our sawmill located in McComb, MS. Responsibilities include installing, repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining electric motors, scanners, drives, and PLC's on equipment used in manufacturing random length lumber. This position will also provide basic mechanical support as needed.
