Job summary

Weyerhaeuser's Magnolia, MS Wood Products facility is hiring an Industrial Mechanic/Millwright to maintain high-tech equipment and support plant operations. You will perform lubrication, preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot mechanical power transmissions, with safety as a priority.

Qualified candidates have at least five years in industrial mechanical maintenance, a High School Diploma or GED, and the ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of hands-on experience in industrial mechanical maintenance.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong knowledge of lubrication systems and mechanical transmissions.
• Proficient in pneumatic/hydraulic systems and metal fabrication.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment exam.

Responsibilities

• Perform machinery lubrication and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical power transmissions.
• Install bearings, couplings, belts, sprockets, and chain drives.
• Diagnose and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Execute welding and metal fabrication tasks.
• Apply basic principles of cylinder repair.
• Assist with troubleshooting industrial electrical systems.
• Work independently and collaboratively to support plant operations.
