Job summary

Weyerhaeuser is seeking a Maintenance Mechanical Millwright for our Dodson, Louisiana Lumber facility. You will perform highly skilled maintenance on motors, pneumatic, hydraulic, and conveyor systems, diagnose breakdowns, and implement repair actions to restore uptime.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of maintenance experience, and the ability to work any shift. Safety compliance and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Dodson, LA.

Qualifications

• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and conveyor systems preferred.
• Strong root cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform highly skilled mechanical maintenance including installation and repair of equipment.
• Maintain machinery such as motors, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and conveyors.
• Analyze breakdown causes and determine repair actions to restore operation.
• Lubricate, clean, plan maintenance, lay out work, and weld as required.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and plant safety rules; maintain clean work environment.
• Work independently or in teams to accomplish maintenance tasks.

DescriptionWeyerhaeuser Company is accepting applications for a Maintenance Mechanical Millwright team member for our Dodson, Louisiana Lumber facility. We are seeking an individual who is committed to safety, have a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and a desire to work in a manufacturing facility.The pay will range from $24.93 - $41.66 per hour based on experience.Key Functions:Performs highly skilled mechanical maintenance tasks including installationRepairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment.
