Job summary

Weyerhaeuser’s Dodson, LA facility seeks an industrious electrician to repair, install, modify and maintain electrical systems on our lumber manufacturing lines. You’ll troubleshoot equipment, work safely in a high‑production environment, and apply PLC, hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge when needed.

Starting pay ranges from $25.31 to $41.13 per hour, with full medical, dental and vision coverage, plus a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical experience or an electrical degree is required.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and follow safety policies.
• Basic computer skills and ability to communicate clearly.
• Willingness to work various shifts and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Repair, modify, install and maintain electrical equipment in the facility.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and support high‑tech lumber equipment.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures in a loud, dusty environment.
• Demonstrate leadership and teamwork on maintenance tasks.
• Work across shifts, weekends, holidays as required.
