Novolex in Milesburg, PA is hiring an Electrical Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial electrical and control systems. The role interfaces with engineering, operators and maintenance staff in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The compensation is $36.00-$42.00 per hour, with a 7am-3pm Monday-Friday schedule. The ideal candidate has an associate degree or industrial maintenance cert with PLC, HMI, VFD experience; knowledge of 120/277/480V wiring and 3-phase
Qualifications
- Associate degree in electrical engineering, industrial maintenance cert, or 3 years as industrial electrician.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring (120/277/480V; 3 phase).
- PLC experience: Allen Bradley; RSLogix a plus.
- Experience with VFD, DC and Servo Drives; 4-20 mA loops and temperature control.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on production equipment.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software (PLC, HMI, VFD, AC/DC drives, temp controls).
- Program and set up equipment for manufacturing to meet specs.
- Create and revise work instructions and process flow docs.
- Work from schematics and engineering drawings; use CMMS for parts records.
- Ensure safe, accurate operation under pressure.
