Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in a manufacturing facility. You will work with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and read schematics to diagnose issues.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in industrial maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, and PLC troubleshooting skills. Nights shift, 12-hour rotations, with competitive hourly pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
Three or more years of industrial maintenance experience.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting production equipment, electrical systems, motor controls, VFDs, sensors, and controls.
Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools.
PLC troubleshooting experience; PLC programming a plus.
Welding experience is a plus.
Basic computer skills and safety practices.

Responsibilities

Respond to production equipment issues and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
Repair and maintain production machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to support troubleshooting and repairs.
Independently troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including PLC I/O diagnostics and reading ladder logic to identify faults.
Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate maintenance records.
Identify recurring problems and help develop lasting fixes.
Request parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance.
Follow plant safety procedures and food manufacturing quality practices.
